Prime Softball

Vision+Values+Beliefs+Goals+Standards = Culture

At Florida Prime Softball, young athletes are given the opportunity to learn and grow their craft under excellent leadership. Our program thrives on praise and a family-oriented atmosphere built on trust. We aim to nurture athletes not just as players, but also as individuals.

Our Focus

Building confidence is at the heart of everything we do. We believe confidence is crucial to success, both on the field and in life. Youth sports are about developing young adults, and we, at Florida Prime Softball, are committed to the journey of growth and memory-making, not chasing championships.

Throughout the softball season, we emphasize the following core areas:

  • Attitude: Success as a team depends on the right attitude. Coaches, players, and parents must all embrace a positive mindset. Travel ball is not just recreation—understanding each other’s roles is essential to our success.
  • Effort: While player development is our top priority, it requires commitment, hard work, and coachability.
  • Fundamentals: Our practices emphasize repetition and detailed feedback to build player confidence and ensure solid game performance.
  • Stamina and Body Care: We prioritize physical conditioning through stretching, cardio, and hydration to prepare athletes mentally and physically for game day.
  • Awareness: During practices, we encourage critical thinking by asking questions and creating teachable moments. Players are expected to apply what they’ve learned in games, where we celebrate their growth and achievements.
  • Unity: We foster a strong sense of unity within the team, both on the field and off. Positive communication is encouraged among players, coaches, and parents. Coaches maintain an open-door policy for feedback and dialogue.

2025/2026 Season

Your commitment to Florida Prime Softball is for the full-year from August through June. We ask that families honor this commitment and refrain from departing mid-season due to other opportunities. We are dedicated to your athlete’s development and expect the same level of commitment in return.

Equipment Requirements
  • Prime Softball provides: supplies for coaches, teams, fields, insurance, uniform coordination, and administrative support.
  • Each athlete must have cleats (NO spikes), bags, water and food on game day.
    – Uniform payment
    – Water and food on game day

Schedule Change Requests

We value everyone’s time, and, as a consequence, CANNOT change the schedule. Plan for all games to be played on Saturdays. We will discuss the best time to reschedule games that cannot be played due to weather or league conflicts.

Coach & Parent Conduct

We ask all coaches, parents, and supporters to set a positive example. Encouragement and passion are welcome, but negative behavior, coaching from the sidelines, disrespect toward officials, and inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated. Violations may result in removal from the program.

Coaches

Coaches who commit to leading a team will receive financial compensation based on an agreed-upon contractual arrangement.
